Hope in Honduras

Hope in Honduras represents the freedom and hope that girls in Honduras deserve. Honduras is located in the center of the "trafficking route" from South America to North America. Because of poverty and lack of education, women and children in Honduras are vulnerable to being bought, sold, manipulated, and exploited into a life of slavery. Freedom is being taken from girls every day.

Through partnerships, passionate individuals, and faith, we are providing a safe home for victims of human trafficking in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Precious girls, who have been sexually exploited and so wrongfully placed in a world of slavery will now have hope. Rescue, restoration, mental therapy, education, and spiritual renewal will take place as they experience freedom.

An account from founder, Jeremy Springer —

Walking through the heart of the city on a warm day in Tegucigalpa, every step seemed to be intentional and with purpose. Full of people selling, bartering, and hustling between the faint smells and unwelcoming looks, this was a moment of realness and faith. After waiting and searching we finally found what we came for, a girl. A girl who has been on the street almost her whole life, who is being forced to sell her body, and who lives in fear and hurt trying to escape the next time she will be abused. Because it wasn't safe for her to talk with us in our present location, she led us outside of the chaos, to a place where she shared her hurts, troubles, dreams, and life with us, although eyes of hopelessness and bruises told it all. We told her we would be back for her, that we will bring her into a place of safety. A place where she can heal, where she can be loved and where hope will be restored. With a broken smile, she said "I want to be the first girl in your home." Freedom is here.
